Jorge has more than 20 years of international managerial experience. After acquiring a global perspective he founded Boutiquesecret in 2009, it was the leading ecommerce for family products in Spain having more than 1 million clients. He sold the company to Bertelsmann in 2013 and began his Business Angel activity advising companies in innovation and digital strategy. He founded The Net Street, a corporate finance and tech M&A boutique in 2013.
Jorge has cofounded, scaled up and sold several technology start-ups and invested in more than 25 high-tech companies. Jorge was appointed CEO of the biggest ecommerce holding in Spain (MDS). He finished the turnaround and exit of the group companies in 2016. He is now involved in several boards of directors in B2C, deeptech, SAAS, cleantech fintech and insurtech companies.
Jorge earned his degree in Engineering from the UPC and his MBA from ESADE. He speaks frequently in public events giving his entrepreneurial and strategic vision. He is also a lecturer of ESADE business school and teaches classes for MBA and Executive programs on entrepreneurship and general management.
Jordi is an international expert in Digital Sales Transformation, Growth Acceleration and Social Selling.
He is considered one of the 10 most influential experts in Digital Sales outside the USA, contributing regularly to LinkedIn’s official sales blog. In 2010, he founded Execus, a consulting and training company, to scale up B2B sales team using professional social networks for business development. Execus was selected in 2013 by LinkedIn as the first partner in Europe in the Sales Solutions division. Jordi is an engineer in Telecommunications by the UPC and an MBA from ESADE.
Jordi is an invited professor at several business schools like Geneva and ESADE and has more than 20 years of experience in telco (NTT, Orange-Ono-Retevision, COLT) and consulting (IBM, RGP, Execus).
Jordi exit Execus leaving it in a great leadership position in the European market and become a partner of The Net Street in 2022.
María Jose is a Communication Director with more than 20 years of experience in Public Relations, Media and Communication Agencies, and Corporate Communication.
She is a seasoned journalist with an extensive network of contacts. Solid experience in the design and execution of communication plans. María José is close to the social, cultural, and associative world, a digital entrepreneur in the eCommerce space, a pioneer in social networks and digital business. Enthusiastic, optimistic, flexible, results-oriented, operational, and strategic-minded.
Graduated in Journalism and Master in Corporate and Institutional Communication from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Master in Strategic Direction of Brand and Communication of ESADE. PDD and Masters in Digital Marketing Management also by ESADE and Learning to Grow by IESE.
Consultant and professor of business schools in matters such as Corporate Communication, Spokespersons, Internal Communication, Blogging, Branded Content, Online Reputation, and Social Media Strategy.
